Secure Data Handling at Forwessun

When you share CAD, PCB and schematic data with Forwessun for fixture design or test software, we handle it with strict data security and confidentiality. Our processes limit access to authorised personnel, keep production information anonymous and maintain a secure environment from intake to delivery.

How we protect your project data

We apply practical cybersecurity and procedural controls that fit the way electronics projects run. The aim is simple: protect intellectual property while allowing our teams to build the fixtures and services you need efficiently and securely.

Controlled Information for Manufacturing

Only the minimum data required is sent to production. X/Y drill and pusher placement files and point-to-point wiring details are provided using coded references that do not reveal the customer details. This keeps manufacturing documentation anonymous and confidential.

Secure and Monitored Environment

Facilities are alarmed and access-controlled. Doors and security keypads restrict entry so only authorised employees can access sensitive areas. This secure environment supports safe handling of customer information throughout the build.

Continuous Digital Security Education

Team members with access to sensitive information receive regular information security awareness training. Ongoing training helps maintain good cyber security practices and consistent protection of customer data.

Secure Processing

  • CAD Information: Access is limited to a single data processing specialist for quotation and creation of board files. This person is background checked and has signed a non-disclosure agreement.
  • Schematics: Access is limited to the senior engineer responsible for design and debug of your test software. Schematics are not printed and remain on the authorised user’s PC for the duration of the task.

  • Onsite Use: PCs are not removed offsite.
  • Best Practices: Passwords are generated using best industry practices, and PCs have active antivirus software and network-level firewalls.
  • No USB Use: USBs are not used for data transfer to prevent unauthorised access.
