University of Liverpool Students Attend Annual Forwessun Visit
Forwessun recently had the pleasure of hosting a group of bright and enthusiastic students from the University of Liverpool’s Department of Electrical Engineering and Electronics. The visit gave the students a first-hand insight into our operations, learn more about our innovative approaches, and see how we develop custom test fixtures and solutions for our clients around the globe.

Exploring The Forwessun Site
During their visit, the students toured our facilities and observed our team in action. They saw first-hand how we design, develop, and deliver tailored fixture and software solutions that meet the specific needs of our clients across various industries. From concept to execution, the experience gave them valuable insights into the processes and technologies that drive our success.
The visit also included opportunities for Q&A discussions with Senior Test Engineer Andrew Kenny, giving the students the chance to ask questions about their careers, the industry, and the future of electrical engineering and electronics. It was inspiring to see their curiosity and passion for the field, and we hope the experience provided them with a clear understanding of the real-world applications of their studies.
A Word from Our General Manager
Reflecting on the visit, our General Manager, Lee Fielding, shared his thoughts:
“We are delighted to continue our strong collaboration with Liverpool University in hosting what has now become an annual event. It was fantastic to see young engineers with so many interesting and relevant questions about Forwessun’s products and the roles we have to offer. At Forwessun, our aim is to consistently offer positions for graduates to support the growth of our test engineering department. “
An Eye on Future Test Engineers
At Forwessun, we recognise the value of supporting education and encouraging collaboration between industry and academia. Hosting the University of Liverpool students was a rewarding experience for both our team and the visitors, and we look forward to future opportunities to engage with the next generation of engineering talent.
Feedback from one of the University of Liverpool Students:
I just wanted to express my gratitude for organizing the industrial visit to Forwessun. We had a great experience yesterday and learned a lot about the company and its operations. It was insightful and gave me a better understanding of potential career opportunities in this field.
We would like to extend our thanks to the students and their faculty, including Dr. Zhou Jiafeng, for visiting Forwessun as part of their learning journey. We wish them all the best in their studies and future careers, and we hope to welcome some of them back here as part of our team one day!
